Stay tuned for updates as I dive into creating my first collection and prepare to launch my website. Meanwhile, here’s a bit more about my story:
After earning my bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts & Design in Education from the Academy of Arts, I spent many years working in the pedagogical and educational fields, teaching others to explore their own creativity. I even had the joy of teaching art classes from my own home. However, somewhere along the way, my personal passion for creating art took a backseat and my creative drive went into hibernation.
Years later, the pull to create art reawakened in me and I realized just how much joy and fulfillment it brings to my life. This rediscovery has led me to fully embrace my path as an artist, and today I’m thrilled to have my own studio in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, where I can spend my days painting and living my purpose.
My work is driven by a love of challenging my imagination and sense of aesthetics, always inspired by the beauty I find in the world around me, particularly in nature during my walks with my dog. I also draw inspiration from the inner emotional processes we all experience – the quiet transformations within ourselves that often go unnoticed, including my own journey of finding balance and peace.
Through my minimal art I explore simplicity by abstracting forms to their essence, evoking a sense of calmness and inviting quiet reflection: a moment of stillness and contemplation. Where I like each piece to be a reminder to soften, both in how we move through the world and within ourselves.
My passion for Scandinavian and soft minimalist interior design has made me deeply aware of how art can enrich and harmonize a space, transforming the mood of a room. That’s why I love displaying my paintings within my own home, where the connection between art and interior truly comes to life – and as I work on my new collection, I look forward to creating more of these setups.
